On a trip to Wilmington, NC to speak to a group of business women on social media, my husband and I had arrived early and were looking for a restaurant
As we?drove down the street a business and it?s awning spanning across the front caught my eye.? As you can see by the picture above, I didn?t have to wonder what kind of business it was or what they did.? I knew immediately!? Piano?s and Organs?Keyboards. How unique!
Social media puts us in constant contact with viewers, clients, and patients bringing our businesses in the limelight more than ever.? This plays a huge part in branding your business.
Your brand?your identity??drives your company and is the very core of your business.? It encompasses what your company does as well as what it stands for.
Does your brand, in this case your logo, tell your viewers what you do?? I?ve seen so many logo?s that if it weren?t for the tag line or some type of print material, I?d have no clue what that business was about.
Two Branding Tips:
- Credibility: Make sure you believe in the brand you have chosen and are comfortable with the brand you create. You have to believe in you brand before anyone else will.? Changing your brand often conveys you are not?sure of what message you want to send to your viewers.
- Consistency: Branding is the part you want to make sure is consistent across your social platforms and carried through in all your print marketing materials. In other words: Be consistent with your brand in your online and offline marketing.
Your brand needs to communite value to your audience. Effectively employing these business branding strategies will help you boost your? business?s??success.
Remember you only have just a matter of seconds to grab your viewers attention.? Visuals do it best when identifying your business in it?s simplest form!? Grab their attention with your best visual possible.
